AMU Recruitment 2024: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Dept of Geography, has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Research Associate, Research Assistant, and Field Investigator Posts, for the lCSSR-funded project under the Special Call for Vision Viksit Bharat @2047.

As mentioned in the official notification of AMU candidates selected for said positions will be paid a monthly salary between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 47,000/-. The selection of applicants will be based on a interview.

Eligibility Criteria of AMU Recruitment 2024

Below we have summarized the required eligibility criteria such as qualification required, age limit, experience, etc. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for any post mentioned in the notification.

1. Research Associate:

• Postgraduate in Social Science with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Must have cleared NET, M.Phil., or Ph.D.
• Proficiency in English and strong academic writing skills.
• Knowledge of GIS mapping will be an added benefit.

2. Research Assistant:

• Postgraduate in Social Science with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Preference will be given to candidates with M.Phil. or Ph.D.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and proficiency in GIS mapping.

3. Field Investigators:

• Postgraduate in Social Science with at least 55% marks.

Project Details

• Title: An Explorative Comparative Analysis of Gender-Sensitive Adaptation Strategies to Climate Change and its Impact on Employment Generation and Sustainable Livelihoods in Two Regions of North India; Western Uttar Pradesh and Western Bihar.
• Project Duration: 8-12 months

Selection Process
