As per the tentative calendar of the SSC Examinations for the year 2024-2025, Notice of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 for inviting Online Applications from the aspiring candidates were scheduled to be published on the website of the Commission on 27-08-2024.
However, due to administrative reasons, Notification of the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination,2025 will now be issued on 05-09-2024.

Eligibility Criteria of SSC GD Constable Posts 2025

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board to apply for Constable (General Duty).
Age Limit
Before applying candidates must fulfill the age requirement criteria as mentioned in the notification. The post-wise age limit is given below:-
Age Limit: The age of the applicants must be between the minimum age of 18 years and should not exceed 23 years.
Application Fee of SSC Constable GD 2025 Recruitment
The application fee for General/ OBC candidates is Rs. 100/-. However, Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ ESM eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.

How to Apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2025
Below we have the steps to apply for the posts for the ease of candidates:
- Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
- Then click the Registration tab and fill OTR (One Time Registration) Form.
- Ensure to enter personal, professional, and basic information in the form correctly and press the submit button.
- Then upload the scanned photo, signature as well as a certificate in the form.
- After registration is over, you will be provided with the registration ID as well as a password on your phone or email address.
- If you are already registered then there is no need for an OTR form. You can simply sign in and enter the registered address and password.
- After doing this, click on apply button.
- Fill out the application form along with the attached scanned photo and sign.
- Make payment of the application form if eligible.
- Before form submission, check the details carefully and then submit the form.
- Take a printout of the submitted application form for further reference.
