PGCIL Officer Trainee Law Recruitment 2024 Notification Out, Through CLAT 2025

PGCIL Officer Trainee Law Recruitment 2024: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released the Employment notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates (Law Graduates) for recruitment to the OFFICER TRAINEEs in the discipline of Law through CLAT 2025 under Advt No. CC/06/2024 dated 20.08.2024.

Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online through the official website of POWERGRID i.e., www.powergrid.in. The application process to apply for Officer Trainee posts will start soon on the POWERGRID website. Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000/- -3%- 1,60,000(IDA) on regularization. Candidates selected, are liable to be posted anywhere in India and Abroad.

Eligibility Criteria of PGCIL Officer Trainee Law Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification

As mentioned in the official notification of PGCIL Officer Trainee Law Recruitment 2024. We have mentioned the post-wise qualification required below:-

LLB or Five years integrated Law/LLB course with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA as per the formula provided by the Institute/ University.

Age Limit

The upper Age Limit is 28 years as on the last date of submission of the online application. Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

a) OBC(NCL): 3 years
b) SC: 5 years
c) PwBD: 10 years over and above category relaxation
d) Ex-Servicemen/ Victims of riots: As per Govt. of India directives

Application Fee

The Application fee is Rs. 500/-. However, SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DEx-SM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.

Selection Process

The selection process shall consist of following stages:

• CLAT – 2025 (for admission to post graduation) of eligible candidates
• Document Verification
• Behavioral Assessment,
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview &
• Pre-Employment Medical Examination.

Salary Details

During training period, the Basic Pay is Rs. 40,000/- along with extant IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay. On successful completion of training and upon regularization, the candidate will be absorbed as Officer (Law) in E2 scale at pay level; Rs. 50,000/- 3%-1,60,000/- (IDA).
