Jammu University Dept of Mathematics Recruitment 2024: The University of Jammu, Department of Maths has invited applications from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time bound research project entitled “Zeros of some complex harmonic polynomials” sponsored by the Science & Engineering Research Board for a temporary period purely on contractual basis.

Vacancy Details:
Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
– Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with First class (or at least 6.5
CGPA) from a recognized university or equivalent. NET/GATE qualified candidate is desirable. In case of non-availability of NET qualified candidate, non-NET candidate will be appointed.
– Age Limit: The upper age limit shall be 28 years. Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for scheduled castes/tribes, women, physically handicapped and OBC candidates.
– Salary: upto Rs. 42,000/- plus HRA per month
