SSC MTS and Havaldar Notification 2024: The Staff Selection Commission, SSC, has released the official notification for the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination (SSC MTS 2024 Recruitment). Online Applications are invited for recruitment of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in various Ministries/Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in different States/ Union
Territories and Havaldar posts in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
Candidates interested in applying for the posts can apply through the official website at ssc.gov.in. As per the SSC MTS Recruitment 2024 Notification, the recruitment Exam will be conducted to fill up 8,326 vacancies. The last date to apply for the SSC MTS Recruitment is July 31, 2024.

Vacancy Details:
1) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 4887 Posts
2) Havaldar (CBIN/CBN): 3439 Posts
SSC MTS Eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification: The candidates must pass the Class 10th or Matriculation exam or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Age limit: The candidates should be between 18-25 years or MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue). For Havaldar in CIBC (Department of Revenue and a few posts of MTS, the age limit is 18-27 years. In both cases, relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable to reserved category candidates.
The following age relaxation is offered to candidates of reserved categories:
SC / ST – 5 years
OBC – 5 years
PwD (Unreserved)- 10 years
PwD (OBC)- 13 years
PwD (SC / ST)- 15 years
Ex-serviceman- 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date of receipt of online application.
Application fee:
The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2024 is Rs. 100/-. However, Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWBD and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation were exempted from payment of the fee. The application fee is to be paid online latest by August 1, 2024.
SSC MTS Selection process:
The selection process consists of a Computer Based Examination (CBE) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST). PET and PST are only for the post of Havaldar.
The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and 13 regional languages – Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
The CBE will have two sessions and attempting both sessions will be mandatory. Not attempting any session will disqualify the candidates.
How to Apply:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC www.ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the official page, you will find the “Register Now” button. Click on the button to start your SSC MTS 2024 Online Application.
Step 3: In the first part of the registration process, you must fill in your General Details, such as, your name, Father’s name, Mother’s Name, Address, Contact Number, Email ID etc.
Step 4: Click on the Submit Button, you will get your application number and mail will be sent to the registered email ID with your login ID and Password.
Step 5: Login again with the Login ID and Password and continue with the process of the SSC MTS Online Application Process.
Step 6: In the second part of the Application Process, upload your recently clicked passport size photograph and signature in the required format.
Step 7: Fill in your education qualifications, and your choice of center and click on the submit button.
Step 8: In the final step of the Application Process, you must pay the Application Fees for the SSC MTS 2024 Exam through the Online Mode of payment (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/NEFT etc.) or through an Offline Mode of Payment (E-Challan).
Step 9: Click on the “SUBMIT APPLICATION” button. Your Online Application form will be successfully submitted.
Step 10: Take a printout and save the pdf file of the SSC MTS Application Form for future reference.
