DOT Recruitment 2024: The Department of Telecommunication has released official notification for hiring candidates for the post of Consultant in Assistant Director (AD) and Junior Telecom Officer (JTO). As per the official notification for DOT Recruitment 2024, the mode of selection will be through Personal Interaction/Interview. Age Limit —
Candidate should not be more than 64 years of age on the last date of application.
Eligibility —
i) For Consultant in AD Level: Retired from Central/State Govt./Central or State PSUs/Research organization with a minimum substantive grade of level 8 of the 7th CPC in CDA Scale or equivalent IDA Scale or holding analogous post or above. Knowledge of working on a Computer is a must. Preference will be given to applicants from DoT/BSNL/MTNL background.
ii) For consultant in JTO level: Retired from Central/State Govt./Central or State PSUs/ Research organization with a minimum substantive grade of level 7 of the 7th CPC in CDA Scale or equivalent IDA Scale or holding analogous post or above. Knowledge of working on a Computer is a must. Preference will be given to applicants from DoT/BSNL/MTNL background.

Tenure —
The selected applicants will have an initial period of 06 months extendable further up to a maximum of 6 (six) terms of 6 (six) months each or up to 65 years of age whichever is earlier.
Selection Process —
The selection of candidates will be based on Personal Interaction/Interview.
