Eligibility Criteria for SAIL Apprentices Recruitment
The required educational Qualification and Age Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2024 is given below:-
Qualification
- Trade Apprentices: ITI Passed
- Technician Apprentices: Diploma Passed
- Graduate Apprentices: B.Tech Passed
Age Limit
The applicants who wish to apply and fulfill the qualification criteria, his/her age should be between 18 to 28 years old (as of Aug 10th, 2024)
Selection Process
The selection process for the SAIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 will be based on merit. Candidates will be evaluated based on the percentage of final marks obtained in their respective qualifications, as applicable to the respective branch/trade.

How to Apply?
Before applying for the above apprentice positions, candidates have to first register themselves in the online portals of the following agencies of Govt of India:
(a) For Trade Apprentices: In the link https:/apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
(b) For Graduate/Technician Apprentices: National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) in the link https://nats.education.gov.in
Application Procedure
A) For ITI: Candidates are first required to register in the web portal http://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for registration as candidate.
> After registering oneself, one can log in to the home page of the apprenticeship portal as a candidate.
> Then go to Apprenticeship Opportunity.
> Then click search by Establishments Name R0UERKELA STEEL PLANT) to click on apply as the prescribed trade against vacancies appearing on the portal.
> The candidates have to apply for the respective trade through the Apprenticeship Opportunity of the establishment of SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant.
B) For Degree/Diploma: Candidates are advised to register as a student online on https://nats.education.gov.in.
> After registering oneself, one can login into the home page of the NATS portal as a candidate.
> Then go to Establishments Requests.
> Then click Find Establishments.
> Candidate should select STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA LIMITED, Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela apply in passed out branch of engineering appearing on the portal.
