10285 Posts — Delhi Home Guards Volunteers Recruitment 2024: The Directorate General of Home Guards (DGHG) Delhi has invited online applications from eligible candidates for 10285 vacancies of Home Guards volunteers. The application process will commence on January 24 and the deadline for the submission of the application form is February 13.

Vacancy details:

  • Name of Post: Home Guards volunteers — 10285 vacancies.
    • Qualification: Candidates should have passed class 12th. The Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CAPF Personnel should have passed class 10th.
    • Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between the age of 20 to 45 years.

Selection Process: The selection process involves two stages:
– Stage-I: Physical Measurement & Efficiency Test (PMET).
– Stage-II: Written Test (WT)

Note: This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 10285 vacancies with 5%, 7.5 % and 27% reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates respectively. Out of each category one third (33.33%) vacancies are reserved (Horizontal reservation) for women. 10% of the vacancies are also reserved for Ex-Servicemen failing which with Ex-CAPF Personnel and failing with both from the normal/general candidates.
